We have good news for you. The use of our veterinary diagnostics and human research products (RUO) will be standardized, making your work easier. The changes will come into force on March 31, 2024.
The changes in detail:
- Due to the standardization, the kit and assay boxes of all product categories always have the same content.
Further changes:
- In all catalog products, the Internal Positive Control Assay Mix is now included in the Pathogen Assay Mix, reducing the number of pipetting steps required. The assay-only version of our products now also has the integrated IPC system.
- All products contain an extraction control as an internal positive control. This applies to products for the detection of DNA, which previously only contained a reaction control.
- The pipetting volume of sample and positive control has been standardized within the individual product types (RNA 14 µl, DNA 9 µl).
To familiarize yourself with the changes, you will find attached two sample instructions for use (IFU). One for DNA and one for RNA detection. The kits are clearly presented and described in an easy-to-follow manner.
ATTENTION!
Kits containing the VIC-marked IPC-System (recognizable by the final digit 1 in the order number) are only available on request until December 31, 2024.
